I am Mohamed and this is my hero

Almost nine months of school I had missed. Almost failed my final exam. The day before the final exam my student card was blocked. I was very scared, but still found the courage to go to my father and explain the situation to him.

He became angry. He yelled at me, but then grabbed my hand and took me to the school. The principal confirmed to him that my student card had been revoked. In the end, my father paid five months of schooling to the principal. I got my student card back and passed my final exams with flying colors.

To me, a hero is someone who stands out for his or her values and successes. My father is my hero.

Mohamed Valek Touré from Guinea.
